At work, I’m focused on accelerating quality across the company: improving how we think about, build, and deliver reliable software.

Outside of work, I’m focusing on a few things:

Writing: Publishing here more consistently, especially about software testing, engineering leadership, and the effect AI-assisted development is having on quality.
Building: Experimenting with small, useful software projects. Some people call it vibe coding; I mostly think of it as learning by making things.
Maintaining: Running TestingConferences.org and its monthly newsletter, along with maintaining Mailinator’s SDKs.
Reading: I’m currently finishing Vibe Coding by Gene Kim and Steve Yegge. I just started Protocols by Andrew Huberman and Beyond Vibe Coding by Addy Osmani. I lost all my progress on reading Developing the Leader Within You by John C. Maxwell. Oh well!
